To provide a method of manufacturing a ceramic electronic component, which allows suppressing contraction of a ceramic green sheet in the course of printing a print paste on an outer surface of a ceramic green sheet, and which is, in addition, simple and easy, and low-cost.
The method is provided for manufacturing the ceramic electronic component 1 that is produced through the process of sintering a ceramic green sheet 10, the ceramic green sheet formed containing at least a ceramic component and a binder. A water of 2 to 10 wt.% with respect to the binder content is contained in the ceramic green sheet 10. In the next step, a print past 11, which is at least either one of an electro-conductive paste 111 and an insulating paste 112, is printed on the outer surface 100 of the ceramic green sheet 10.
