A clay body is kneaded, deaerated, and thereafter baked to produce an unglazed substrate having a predetermined shape; a masking agent is applied to the unglazed substrate to draw a predetermined circulating pattern; thereafter a carbonaceous film is formed on its whole surface; thereafter the carbonaceous film in a part with the masking agent applied thereto is etched together with the masking agent to form one or more isolated carbonaceous film segments on the unglazed substrate; and finally a structure composed by connecting the carbonaceous segments with current-carrying paths is formed.
