Abstract:

To provide a method of manufacturing a ceramic substrate capable of forming a cavity with a small difference from a design value.

A method of manufacturing a ceramic substrate includes: an arrangement process of arranging a green sheet portion PTY which is a press target between a face PS1 of a first mold 22A and a face IS2 of a second mold 23A; a press process of pressing one or both of the first mold 22A and the second mold 23A against the green sheet portion PTY; and a burning process of burning the green sheet portion PTY which has undergone the press process. In projections and recesses formed on the face PS1 of the first mold 22A, a recess 50 having a depth D smaller than a difference UD between the projection and recess is formed on a surface CX of the projection opposing to the face IS2 of the second mold 23A.
