Abstract:
To prevent a defect from occurring in a sheet of a ceramics material by forming concave and convex portions on the sheet.
This method of manufacturing a ceramics structure includes the steps of molding a flat sheet 1 from slurry; drying the sheet 1; applying a spray liquid after the drying process; forming concave and convex portions on the sheet 1 after the process of applying the spray liquid; and providing the ceramics structure by calcining the sheet 1 with the concave and convex portions formed thereon. The slurry contains ceramics powder, a binder, a plasticizer and a solvent. The spray liquid contains a binder, a plasticizer and a solvent which are the same as those of the slurry.
