The method for manufacturing a color filter substrate having optical compensability includes: a step of forming a black matrix by multiple attachment; a step of forming a color filter layer comprising colored pixels having a reflection part and a transmission part respectively by multiple attachment; a step of forming an alignment layer; a step of applying polymeric liquid crystal; a step of irradiating the polymeric liquid crystal with light so that irradiation amount may be different by area corresponding to each color of the colored pixel and/or the reflection part and the transmission part thereof; and a step of irradiating a prescribed area in a gap between an upper surface of a frame of the black matrix and the color filter layer formed by multiple attachment with light simultaneously with the light irradiation step.
