To provide a method for manufacturing components for a vehicle, which enables the efficient manufacture of a plurality of kinds of components having various shapes and can reduce their cost, and further to provide a method for manufacturing a pawl lever, and further to provide components for vehicle and pawl levers.
When pawl levers 74 are manufactured, a forming die 100 is prepared, the forming die 100 being provided with a reference die 102 having a first cavity 106 corresponding to the common shape portion of a plurality of kinds of the respective pawl levers 74 and a slidable die 104 having a plurality of kinds of second cavities 108A to 108E corresponding to the different shape portions of the respective pawl levers 74. Then, the first cavity 106 of the reference die 102 and one of the second cavities 108A to 108E of the slidable die 104 selected from a plurality of kinds of the respective pawl levers 74 so as to correspond to the selected pawl lever 74 are selectively combined, and then the selected pawl lever 74 is simultaneously formed.
