Abstract:
To provide a silencer or a component member of a silencer provided with another pipe outside a pipe and forming a space between both pipes, which can prevent condensate water from entering the space between the pipes and can increase degree of freedom for layout, and a manufacturing method for a silencer or a component member of a silencer.SOLUTION: The present invention has at least two small diameter parts 3, 3 separated from each other. Between the small diameter parts 3, 3, a first pipe 2 having a bulging part 4 that bulges outward in a radial direction from the small diameter part 3 is provided. Inside the first pipe 2, a second pipe 5 whose axial length is shorter than the axial length of the first pipe 2 is housed. The respective outer surfaces of both ends of the second pipe 5 and the inner surface of the small diameter part 3 of the first pipe 2 are fitted to each other so that the second pipe 5 is located inside the bulging part 4. In the second pipe 5, one or more communication holes 6 are formed in the portion where the bulging part 4 is located.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
