The manufacturing method includes: a step of providing a sheet in which a loop material having a limited width contains a fiber-entangling and self-supporting web, the fiber forms both the sheet-shaped web body and the hook-engageable and self-standing loop extending from at least one surface of the web body, and the loop material has a substantially constant fiber density in the whole width; a step of enclosing the fiber of the web body of the loop constituting element in which a plastic hook material has a synthetic resin-made strip-shaped base part extending from a synthetic resin-made strip-shaped base part by integrally molding the fastening tool element on the synthetic resin-made strip-shaped base part; and a step of cutting the laminate to form the composite contact fastening tools each containing a portion of the loop material and a portion of the hook material.
