To provide a manufacturing method for a construction machine enabling an oil supply hole part to be located at all times near the side wall of a guard panel even if the mounting position of the guard panel varies in the direction of a turning radius depending upon the specifications.
Using the guard panel to be installed on the inside surface in the innermost as the reference, the oil supply hole part of a fuel tank is installed in the neighborhood of the reference guard panel, and the guard panel to be installed on the inside surface is mounted while the oil supply hole part is positioned mating with an opening provided in the side wall of the guard panel in case the guard panel is to be mounted, and an inward directed dimple 14 is formed in the side wall of the guard panel 6a to be installed on the outside in accordance with the inter-shaft distance between the side wall of the guard panel 6a and the oil supply hole part 8 arranged using the inside located guard panel as the reference in order to mount the guard panel 6a installed outside the inside located guard panel, and the guard panel 6a for outside installation is mounted while the opening 14b provided in the bottom surface of the dimple 14 is mating with the oil supply part.
