The method for manufacturing the curved surface or the plane body having the metal pattern or metal characters comprises a first process for applying metal coating to the whole surface to be formed with the pattern or characters of a non-metal curved surface or plane body, a second process for forming predetermined pattern or characters as masking with printing ink or paint on the surface entirely coated with metal, a third process for removing metal coating at a part other than the formed part of the predetermined pattern or characters, and a fourth process for removing the coating of the printing ink or paint that formed the predetermined pattern or characters. The curved surface or the plane body manufactured by the method is presented.
