Pores 7 each functioning as a lubricant reservoir are formed in a sprayed coating 5 previously formed on the inner surface of a cylinder bore 3 of the cylinder block 1. A leak test is executed to the cylinder block 1 as a liquid leakage check of a cooling water path or a lubricant path in a state that the pores 7 are formed, and when failing in the leak test, impregnation treatment is performed to defective pores causing liquid leakage to be closed with a resin. Then, the resin used in the impregnation treatment enters the pores 7, but the permeation resin 18 having entered the pores 7 is heated by a heat source 19, and melted and removed.
