To provide a method of manufacturing a cylinder liner for suppressing excessive lowering of the temperature of a cylinder liner.
A coating film 5 is formed on an outer peripheral face through arc thermal spraying, and the diameter of a wire used for the arc thermal spraying is set to 0.8 mm or more.
