Abstract:
To quickly manufacture a cylinder at low cost in a method of manufacturing a cylinder for an internal combustion engine.
A control window 5 is formed by a multi-stage processing of a cylinder wall 2. At a first stage, a main rotation motion of a cutting tool 7 is performed to form a breaking part to the cylinder wall 2. At a second stage, the breaking part 10 is expanded to a predetermined dimention of the control window 5 using one tool.
