To provide a method for manufacturing a deformed iron core, capable of improving its productivity and material yield.
The method comprises forming a caulking recessed part 27 or a caulking opening 24 at each set of a number (a), of first core strips 17 making up a first laminated body 11, to closely intrude a caulking projection 26 therein which is formed at the lowest second core strip 18 of a second laminated body 12 to be laminated; making up a first coupling laminated body 11a for enabling the first laminated body 11 to be separated mutually; forming a caulking recessed part or a caulking opening 30 at each set of a number, b, of second core strips 19, to loosely intrude the caulking projection 26 of the second core strip 18 to be mounted thereon; applying a caulking laminating operation to the set of the number, b, of second core strips 19 and the second core strip 18 disposed thereunder so as to make up a second coupling laminated body 12a for enabling the second laminated body 12 to be separated mutually; and taking out the first laminated body 11 from the first coupling laminated body 11a and the second laminated body 12 from the second coupling laminated body 12a, and applying a caulking laminating operation to them.
