To provide a method for manufacturing a dielectric slurry, whereby the dielectric slurry suited for producing a thin dielectric layer can be provided, and a laminated ceramic electronic part having a small dielectric loss, a high dielectric constant and a long life.
The method for manufacturing the dielectric slurry comprises: a step of mixing and dispersing a pre-dispersion treatment solution containing at least a dielectric powder and a solvent by carrying out a pre-dispersion treatment; and a step of classifying the treated solution after the pre-dispersion treatment using a wet classifier. Here, the pre-dispersion treatment is carried out so that the rate of change (100×(β-α)/α) of the BET specific surface area (β) of the dielectric powder contained in the solution after the pre-dispersion treatment to the BET specific surface area (α) of the dielectric powder contained in the solution before the pre-dispersion treatment falls within 1-5%.
