To provide a method for manufacturing a display device in which a display device with a large screen of high display quality can be manufactured without making the manufacturing facilities large.
Element substrates 10A and 10B where pixels 12 comprising organic light emitting elements 12R, 12G, and 12B are formed are arrayed on one and the same plane and put opposite a sealing substrate 20. While the element substrates 10A and 10B and sealing substrate 20 are stuck together with a bonding resin 31 for sealing, the bonding resin 31 for sealing is projected from a seam part 11 to the rear side to bury the seam part 11 with the bonding resin 31 for sealing. The rear side of the seam part 11 can securely be sealed through the simple process. This is suitable to a large-sized display device using top-surface light-emission type organic light emitting elements 12R, 12G, and 12B. On the reverse side of the seam part 11, a back sealing member may be arranged through the bonding resin 31 for sealing. Then the bonding resin 31 for sealing is cured.
