To provide a light-emitting device capable of suppressing deterioration of emission characteristics of an organic EL element when a display is manufactured by the nozzle printing method, and a method for manufacturing the same.

A display comprises: a supporting substrate; a plurality of organic EL elements arranged on the supporting substrate in a matrix with predetermined intervals in a first direction and a second direction intersecting with the first direction respectively; an insulating film which is provided on the supporting substrate, in which openings are formed at positions corresponding to a plurality of organic EL elements, and which defines each of organic EL elements by the openings individually; and partition walls arranged between adjacent organic EL elements in the second direction on the insulating film and consisting of a plurality of partition wall members extending in the first direction. Each of partition wall members is arranged so that a center position in the second direction of each of partition wall members are shifted to one side of the second direction from a center between adjacent openings in the second direction.
