Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a double pipe which makes it easy to insert an inner pipe into an outer pipe and makes it possible to easily and surely fix the outer pipe and the inner piper.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a double pipe 7 for use in an internal heat exchanger of a refrigerating cycle 1 to be mounted on a vehicle includes: an insertion step of inserting an inner pipe 11, whose external diameter is smaller than an internal diameter of an outer pipe 12, into the outer pipe 12; and a fixing step to be carried out after the insertion step, in which the outer pipe and the inner pipe are fixed together by causing the entirety or a part of the outer pipe to deform so as to come into contact with an outer periphery of the inner pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
