To provide a method for manufacturing a double-side toothed belt in which a belt sleeve between press processes can be automatically conveyed and the position of teeth parts of double sides accurately coincide with each other, in a method for molding and vulcanizing in manufacturing the rubber belt such as the toothed belt and cogged belt.

The method for vulcanizing the double-side toothed belt comprises the steps of pinching a part of the cylindrical belt sleeve by at least an upper mold 110, a middle mold 109 and a lower mold 111, molding and vulcanizing it by heating and pressing, moving successively the position for heating and pressing, and finally, molding and vulcanizing the whole periphery of the belt sleeve, and before pressing, the belt sleeve and the mold are arranged so as not to be cushioned with each other. The toothed belt is molded and vulcanized without cooling of a pressing mold.
