To provide a method for manufacturing a double walled header pipe easily and inexpensively, with regard to the method for manufacturing the double walled header pipe such as a header pipe, etc., used in, for instance, a solar heat collector.

When the double walled header pipe 1 ramified into plural pipes is manufactured, the method is characterized in that each fitted portion is brazed together in a furnace after parts composing the header pipe 1 are fitted into each other and are temporarily assembled. Specifically for instance, the header pipe 1 has double walled main pipes 2, 3, pipe sleeves 4, 5 placed in each an end of the each main pipe, end plates 6, 7 blocking each another end of the each main pipe, tubular bodies 8, 9 which are installed in plural places in the longitudinal direction of the each main pipe and which connect branch tubes 10, 11, etc., with each main pipe. After they are fitted into each other and are temporarily assembled, the each fitted portion is brazed together in the furnace.
