Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing an electrolyte holding layer, capable of forming uniform coating without forming a defective part and a thin film part when coating and forming the electrolyte holding layer of a fuel cell.
After mixing particles stable against an electrolyte with a binder, the electrolyte holding layer is formed by coating a paste for electrolyte layer formation, of which viscosity is adjusted to 0.5 to 3.0 Pas s, onto a fuel electrode or an air electrode by a die coater.
