Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method capable of uniformly and firmly adhering a rubber bearing material to an inner peripheral surface of shell metal, in a submerged rubber bearing constituted by vulcanizing and adhering the rubber bearing material composed of a rubber-based material to the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical shell metal.

This manufacturing method of an electrolytic protection bearing is provided for vulcanizing and adhering the rubber bearing material 2 composed of the rubber-based material to the inner periphery of the cylindrical shell metal 1 supported in a die body. The segment-like rubber bearing material is molded by vulcanizing and adhering by inserting rubber materials 32 and 42 between base metals 310 and 41 and pad materials 34 and 43 composed of a synthetic resin superior in slidability such as tetrafuoroethylene, polyamide and high density polyethylene. A plurality of grooves 1a extending in the axial direction are carved in the circumferential direction on the inner peripheral surface of the shell metal, and the rubber bearing materials 30 and 40 are fitted in the grooves.
