To produce a conductive thin phenol resin fiber fabric not generating raising of fluff and to provide an apparatus for producing the fabric.
The method for producing the fabric comprises a fabric-forming step for forming a mixed fabric by using a yarn in which a main fiber 7 composed of a phenol resin is mixed with a fiber 8 to be removed, a removal step for forming a phenol resin fiber fabric by removing the fiber to be removed from the mixed fabric, a phenol resin fiber pressing step for pressing the phenol resin fiber fabric in the thickness direction, a conductive fabric-forming step for forming a conductive layer and a conductive fabric-pressing step for pressing the conductive fabric in the thickness direction. The production apparatus realizes these steps.
