Abstract:

To provide a method for manufacturing an electrooptical device with which functional liquids such as a liquid anisotropic conductive material are applied to substrates to hold an electrooptical material with excellently controlled amounts and positions, an electrooptical device, an electronic appliance and an inkjet type functional liquid discharge device.

In manufacturing a liquid crystal device, the functional liquids such as an anisotropic conductive film 750 to mount a driving IC 7 and a flexible substrate 900, a sealing material 950 for these electronic components, a first sealing material to conductively connect the substrates 10, 20 and a second sealing material 30B to stick the substrates 10, 20 to each other are applied on the substrates by using the inkjet type functional liquid discharge device.
