Abstract:

To provide a method of manufacturing an electrooptical device by which the wet spreading speed of a liquid body applied on a substrate can be easily controlled.

The method of manufacturing the electrooptical device comprises: a step (b) for disposing a liquid crystal (an electrooptical substance) 50 on a seal surface 10a of a substrate (a first substrate) 10; and a step (c) for turning the seal surface 10a of the substrate 10 to the lower side and sticking the substrate 10 to a counter substrate (a second substrate) 20 disposed on the lower side of the substrate 10.
