To provide electrostatic charge image developing toners which are drastically decreased in the amount of residual monomers, are substantially odorless and solve environmental problems.
The method of manufacturing the electrostatic charge image developing toners include an emulsion polymerization process step of forming an emulsion polymerized latex containing polymer primary particles by subjecting the monomers to emulsion polymerization, an agglutinating process step of forming a particle aggregate by causing coagglutination in a polymer primary particle containing dispersion liquid obtained by adding and dispersing at least coloring agents into the resulted emulsion polymerized latex, and a maturing process step of causing fusion among the agglutinated particles in the particle aggregate in the dispersion liquid containing the resulted particle aggregate, in which the content of a polymerization inhibitor in the monomers to be subjected to the emulsion polymerization is confined to <50 ppm.
