Abstract:

To reduce the temperature unevenness during heating of a cylindrical core body and reduce unevenness of the electric resistance of an endless belt member in manufacturing the endless belt member.

This method of manufacturing the endless belt member (B) includes: applying a film forming resin solution (6) onto a surface of the cylindrical core body (1); drying the film forming resin solution (6) applied on the core body (1) while rotating the core body (1) around an axial direction of the core body (1); providing a shielding member (16) to one end side of the core body (1) in the axial direction, the shielding member (16) shielding a wind fed from the one end side; and manufacturing an endless belt member (B) on which the film forming resin (6) is solidified, by putting the core body (1) to which the shielding member (16) is provided into a heating furnace (21) equipped with a blowing means (23) that blows a hot air from the one end side, and heating the core body (1).
