Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filament manufacturing method that can form plural microcavities into filaments with high precision at low cost.SOLUTION: A filament manufacturing method contains a first step, a second step and a third step. The first step is a step of forming a resin layer 2 on a base material 11 of the filament 1, the resin layer 2 being subjected to predetermined processing to be hardened. The second step is a step of pressing a resin mold 3 having a projection pattern 31 serving as a mold for plural microcavities 12 against the base material 11 from the resin layer 2 side, and performing predetermined processing while the projection pattern 31 bites into the resin layer 2, thereby hardening the resin layer 2. The third step is a step of exfoliating the resin mold 3 from the resin layer 2, and then forming plural microcavities 12 on the base material 11 on the basis of the resin layer 2 having a recess pattern 21 corresponding to the projection pattern 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
