PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier film using a cellulosic material, the gas barrier film having excellent flex resistance while avoiding a crack even at a molding process and capable of maintaining gas barrier properties, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A gas barrier film includes a cellulosic material. The cellulosic material includes a carboxy group, and has a structure where a cellulose single nanofiber part dispersed in a microfibril unit and a cellulose nanofiber part in an unfibrillated state are closely entangled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
