Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a glass ceramic substrate by which the firing process to decrease pores remaining in a multilayered glass ceramic substrate can be made efficient and a multilayered glass ceramic substrate having specified mechanical strength can be stably obtained.
Wiring conductors are formed on a plurality of ceramic green sheets manufactured by using glass ceramic powder containing borosilicate glass and alumina, and when these sheets are laminated and pressed, an organic solvent is applied to form an organic solvent coating layer (S1) between adjacent ceramic green sheets. The layers are laminated by pressing and the obtained layered body is fired to obtain the multilayered glass ceramic substrate.
