Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing granular metal soap having low cost and good manufacturing efficiency, and to provide a metal soap obtained by the manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing granular metal soap comprises stirring and mixing fatty acid, water and at least one kind selected from a group comprising metallic oxide, metal hydroxide and metal carbonate, while heating them under pressure. A total charged amount of the fatty acid and at least one kind selected from a group comprising the metal oxide, the metal hydroxide and the metal carbonate corresponds to a chemical equivalent to the obtained metal soap. The heating is performed using both of indirect heating and direct heating.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
