To provide a method of manufacturing a heat exchanger capable of robust annealing in a short period of time without requiring large-scaled expensive equipment.
The heat exchanger comprises water piping with at least one external wall side spiral recess on the external wall side and external wall side spiral projections located at both ends of the spiral recess, and refrigerant piping jointed to the external wall side spiral recess of the water piping. The water piping around which the refrigerant piping is wound is spirally formed on a plane. The method of manufacturing the heat exchanger is characterized by winding the refrigerant piping around the water piping after softening the water piping, on which the external wall side spiral recess and the external wall side spiral projections located at both ends of the external wall side spiral recess are spirally formed, by using a high-frequency annealing device, and forming the water piping, around which the refrigerant piping is wound, in the spiral shape on the plane.
