To provide a method which can easily control the quantity of working liquid even in case that the charge percentage of the working fluid is low and can manufacture a heat pipe of good performance, as a manufacturing method for a heat pipe for heat transport of a CPU, etc., for a computer.
In the manufacturing method of the heat pipe, a heat pipe container 10 containing working fluid is retained roughly vertically, and also a heating furnace 21 opening above and below is arranged over the container 10. At least either the heat pipe container 10 containing working fluid or the heating furnace 21 is shifted either upward or downward, and the container 10 is inserted into the heating furnace 21 from the opening at this bottom. The whole of the container 10 is led in the heating furnace 21 while heating the heat pipe container 10 containing working fluid gradually from this top, noncondensive gas is dispelled from within the container 10 while preventing the bumping of the working fluid within the container 10, and then the roughly top end 10A of the container 10 is sealed.
