Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a good coating film on a surface of a die cast article.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a heat sink according to the present invention includes: a casting step in which a molten metal is poured into a metallic mold provided in a casting equipment 100 thereby forming a die cast article 202; a mold opening step in which the metallic mold is opened after the casting step; a taking-out step in which the die cast article 202 is taken out from the metallic mold after the mold opening step; and an application step in which a first coating material having a heat radiation property is applied onto a surface of the die cast article 202 using a spray device 201. The casting equipment 100 includes a heat radiation part 106 onto which a second coating material having a heat radiation property is applied. The method for manufacturing a heat sink further includes a heating step in which the die cast article 202 is heated by radiant heat radiated from the heat radiation part 106 during a period from start of the taking-out step to termination of the application step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
