To provide a method capable of manufacturing, inexpensively and at high yield, a high-frequency magnetic material which exhibits an excellent magnetic property in a high-frequency region, and whose magnetic property has excellent thermal stability for a long time.
The method of manufacturing a high-frequency magnetic material comprises the step of preparing a precursor particle which comprises a first compound selected from alkoxide, hydroxide, sulfate, nitrate, and carboxylate of a magnetic metal comprising at least one metal of Fe and Co; and a second compound selected from alkoxide, hydroxide, sulfate, nitrate, and carboxylate of an insulative oxide forming metal element, and whose particle diameter is equal to or more than 10 nm and equal to or less than 1 m; and the step of heating the precursor particle in a reduction atmosphere, disassembling the second compound, generating the insulative oxide particle of the metal element, depositing the fine particle of the magnetic metal in the first compound with a particle diameter of equal to or more than 1 nm and equal to or less than 100 nm in the insulative oxide particle, and forming a compound magnetic particle.
