In the method for manufacturing the hollow fiber type module including a hollow fiber bundle loading process for loading a bundle of hollow fibers 3 into a casing 4, a casing opening part blockage process for blocking both the opening parts of the casing, a sealing process for pouring a liquid resin composition into the casing, curing the resin composition while rotating the casing and fixedly sealing both the end parts of the bundle of hollow fibers, and a cutting process for cutting a portion protruded from the edge part of the casing, an original hollow fiber membrane is used as the bundle of hollow fibers which does not include a hydrophilic agent and is spun of a hydrophobic membrane material, and in the sealing process, a membrane substrate of the hollow fiber membrane is impregnated with the resin composition to be cured.
