Abstract:

To provide a method for manufacturing a hydrazine derivative, which is useful as medicines or the like, at a low cost on an industrial scale.

(1) A method for manufacturing a hydrazine derivative by reducing a hydrazone derivative with an amine-borane complex; (2) a method for alkylating a hydrazine derivative with a triacyloxyborohydride complex compound or the like; (3) a method for manufacturing a hydrazine derivative through the reduction and alkylation of a hydrazone derivative with a triacyloxyborohydride complex compound or the like; (4) a method for carrying out reductive alkylation of a hydrazine derivative having a disubstituted reactive nitrogen atom in the presence of an amine-borane complex with a carbonyl compound; (5) a method for manufacturing a trisubstituted hydrazine derivative through the reduction and alkylation of the primary amino group of a hydrazine derivative with a triacyloxyborohydride complex compound and reductive alkylation with a carbonyl compound; and (6) a method for carrying out selective sulfonyl amidation on a secondary amino group of a hydrazine derivative having, on the nitrogen-containing heterocycle, (i) a nitrogen atom having a primary amino group and (ii) a nitrogen atom having the secondary amino group.
