Abstract:

To provide a method for manufacturing an inorganic spherical body having substantially uniform particle size.

This method for manufacturing the inorganic spherical body comprises a step to form a W/O type emulsion by pushing out a water-soluble liquid containing an inorganic compound into an organic liquid flowing in a laminar flow form through a micropore and a step to solidify the water-soluble liquid in the W/O type emulsion. The fourfold value of the hydraulic radius (r) of the cross section of the micropore is made to be 0.1-100 μm. The ratio of the number average particle size of the inorganic spherical bodies to the fourfold value of the hydraulic radius (r) is made to be 0.1-5.0. The ratio of the linear velocity of the organic liquid in the flow direction to that of the water-soluble liquid in the flow direction is made to be 10-300.
