Abstract:
To provide a new technique for joining a first member and a second member.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a joint member formed by joining a first member and a second member having a lower yield point than that of the first member. A through hole is formed on the first member. The manufacture method includes overlapping the first member and the second member so as to cover the through hole with the second member, performing at least one pressurization with a punch toward the side of the first member from the side of the second member, and thereby press-fitting a part of the second member into the through hole, and allowing the peripheral edge part of the through hole in the first member to project in the pressurization direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
