Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a laminated article using an epoxy resin composition.
SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the laminated article, (A) an epoxy resin composition contains a polyepoxide, and further contains a curing suppressing agent containing boric acid or maleic acid. The curing suppressing agent is contained in an amount exceeding 0.01 mole per epoxide equivalent when the curing suppressing agent is boric acid. The resin composition is brought into contact with a reinforcing material to form segments of the coated reinforcing material. (B) The segments of the coated reinforcing material are brought into contact with each other in desired arrangement. (C) The contact segments of the coated reinforcing material are exposed to pressure at a temperature for significantly curing the polyepoxide. Herein, the pressure is high enough to allow the polyepoxide to flow on the respective segments to mix the polyepoxide or advanced epoxy resin on the adjacent segments.
