To improve bonding strength, to raise the strength and rigidity of a die and to expand the use range of the laminated die by strongly bonding laminated metallic plates to the tips as to the manufacturing method of the laminated die.
In this manufacturing method, a laminated block is put into a pressing apparatus, buried in spheroidal bodies and pressed with a pressing plate which is pressed from above with elastic bodies. Thus the change of pressing force due to the dimensional variation caused by thermal expansion and the flow-out of brazing filler metal is reduced, and the entire face of the laminated block is pressed like in hydrostatic pressing. After performing bonding with an adhesive material, diffusion bonding or brazing bonding in a proper atmosphere by putting the block into a heating furnace, the difference in level is removed with an NC (numerical control) finishing machine.
