Abstract:

To manufacturing lightweight foamed concrete having high strength, excellent toughness and small shrinkage on drying.

A mixture composed of silica tone powder formed by pulverizing silica stone (A) of ≥40 μm in the average single crystal grain size of quartz and silica stone (B) of ≥10 to <40 μm in the average single crystal grain size of quartz is used as the silicic acid raw material of the lightweight foamed concrete. Both of the silica stone powder from the silica stone (A) and the silica stone powder from the silica stone (B) are so compounded as to attain ≥20 to ≤80 wt.%. At this time, the silica stones (A) and (B) may be pulverized by the same pulverizing equipment in the mixed state that the prescribed compounding ratio is previously attained.
