Abstract:

To solve the problem in which it is uneconomical due to the much futility of materials and much working time is needed in a method for manufacturing a link-arm by a hot-forging process.

The manufacturing method comprises: an annealing process for annealing an aluminum material; a primary pressing process for press-molding the aluminum material into a shape near the link-arm for press-molding the aluminum material with a shape near the link-arm-shape after completing; a secondary pressing process for finishing the primary pressing mold into the shape of the link-arm; a heat treatment process for making high hardness of the secondary pressing mold; and a hole-penetrating process for penetrating an axial hole in the secondary pressing mold. If necessary, it is possible to perform a bondong treatment and then the primary pressing after the annealing process, and to perform the annealing treatment of the primary pressing mold before the secondary pressing and a cutting processing before or after the hole-penetrating treatment, to the secondary-pressing mold. As for an aluminum material, the aluminum material of oval-sectional shape or the aluminum material obtained by cutting a rod-shaped aluminum wire material can be used.
