Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a lithium transition metal compound oxide which can carry out firing process in good productivity.
The method for manufacturing a lithium transition metal compound oxide by firing a mixture containing a lithium compound and a transition metal compound is characterized in that moisture concentration in the mixture before calcination is 1-5 wt.% under the following measurement conditions: 'Measurement conditions of concentration of water' (A) A mixture of 1 g before firing is taken, (B) which is dried at 110°C for 2 hours, (C) the weight (Q g) of the mixture after 2 hours of drying is measured. Moisture concentration (%)=(1-Q)×100.
