Abstract:

To provide a component for a clock, the component having excellent shock resistance and high dimensional accuracy, and to provide a clock using the component.

The component for a clock includes: a claw 101 that has a plurality of concavo-convex features 202 having faces opposing to a plane intersecting the longitudinal direction of the claw 101 and has a plurality of concavo-convex features 201 having faces opposing to a plane parallel to the longitudinal direction; and a pallet 102 that is tightly joined so as to engage with the plurality of concavo-convex features 202 having faces opposing to a plane intersecting the longitudinal direction. A clock 880 is provided, using the above component for a clock. The claw 101 and a shaft hole are formed in the same process.
