Abstract:
To provide a means for preventing damages such as cracks from occurring in an upper and lower molds while reducing generation of burrs in a machinery part as a finished product, in a method for manufacturing a machinery part in which upset molding and die-forging are combined.
The method for manufacturing a machinery part compresses a workpiece into a cavity of a lower flask by the upper mold to forge the workpiece into a predetermined shape, wherein a value of volume of the cavity/volume of the workpiece, which is a ratio of a volume of the cavity to a volume of the workpiece, is controlled to 0.97 or more and less than 1.
