Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a magnetic core with a resin coating capable of forming a resin coating with a uniform film thickness on the inner peripheral surface, the outer peripheral surface, and both side surfaces of an annular magnetic core, and to provide a magnetic core with a resin coating excellent in magnetic properties.SOLUTION: The entire surface of a magnetic core mainly made of a metallic magnetic material of an Fe-based amorphous alloy having a magnetostriction constant λs of 30×10-6 or less as an absolute value is coated with a thermosetting resin. The magnetic core has an annular shape with an outer diameter of 20 to 75 mm, an inner diameter of 10 to 50 mm, and a height of 5 to 25 mm, the thermosetting resin contains an inorganic filler, the average thickness of the resin film directly coated on the magnetic core surface is 200 μm or more and 500 μm or less, and the core loss Pcv is less than 190 kW/m3 under the conditions of maximum magnetic flux density of 150 mT and frequency of 20 kHz.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
