To provide a method of manufacturing a magnetically anisotropic resin-bonded magnet having a superior magnetic characteristic and heat resistance.
This method of manufacturing the magnetically anisotropic resin-bonded magnet comprises a supplying step for supplying a mixed powdered material composed mainly of magnet powder having magnetic anisotropy and thermosetting resin powder to a molding tool, and a molding step for molding the powdered material by pressurizing the material in the tool in a state where the magnetic powder is oriented after the material is heated and the magnetic powder is oriented by impressing a magnetic field upon the powdered material while at least the thermosetting resin is maintained in a liquid-like state, and then, taking out the molded article from the heated molding tool by terminating the impression of the magnetic field and pressurization after the resin is thermoset through a crosslinking reaction caused by the heating.
