This method for manufacturing the mesh of the simple substance metal foil comprises forming a photoresist layer 1 on both surfaces of the metal foil 4, laminating a transparent support 5 on one surface of the photoresist layer 1, then, exposing the photoresist layer 1 laminated with no transparent support 5 to form a predetermined mesh pattern, exposing the whole photoresist layer 1 laminated with the transparent support 5 to form a developed resist part 7, then, removing an undeveloped part 8 of the photoresist layer 1, etching the part of the metal foil 4 corresponding to the removed part, and simultaneously removing the developed resist parts 7 on both surfaces of the metal foil 4.
