To provide a method for manufacturing a metal article by which the metal article can be directly manufactured with high accuracy by using a laser beam, and to provide an apparatus thereof and a laser beam condensing unit.
When the metal article of a desired shape is formed by repeating a step of forming a metal layer by irradiating a laser beam on metal powder and melting the metal powder and a step of placing metal powder on the metal layer and melting the metal powder by a laser beam, the laser beam is split into a high-energy laser beam for melting the metal powder and a low-energy laser beam provided therearound. The manufacturing method of the metal article, the apparatus thereof, and the laser beam condensing unit employ the optical system using the laser beam.
